"For I know the plans I have for you", declares the Lord, "plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope". Jeremiah 29:11

Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin, yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? Therefore do not be anxious, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you."Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble". Matthew 6:28b-34

Hannah and Nate's Wedding Shower

Erin & Jonathan (my sis & bro-in-law) had Hannah & Nate's wedding shower in their new shop. It was a great place for a party!
Little sister Jerusha serving lemonade-we went through 8 gallons of lemonade-it was a hot day! In this game, Erin wheeled the wagon with 20 items on it around so everyone could have a look. Then folks had to remember what they saw & write it down.

Next game "How well do you know the bride/groom? This is Nate's folks counting how many siblings Hannah has:)

Ma & Pa working on their answers.

Aunt Laura was sure she knew ALL 20 items on the wagon-and she did!

Sheldon (the best man) hand the couple the gifts-the Mountain Dew is from Nate's younger brother.

Hannah, very pleased with her lovely lavender towels from Aunt Pemba

I love this shot with the mommies on either side....

Aunt Laura and my sweet Grandma Graham.

I happened along at the right moment to hear the conversation: "Can you even IMAGINE how much some people spend on a WEDDING?!" Hannah, Nate, Aunt Debbie, Grandma Vanderbosch, Cousin Nicki, & Aunt Laura.

Everyone stayed for a dish to pass supper to end out a beautiful weekend. Now we are looking forward to the wedding date-fast approaching-on July 31st. :)

Wedding Shower Eve-Picnic at our House

The evening before my sister Hannah and Nate's wedding shower, we had the immediate families and bridal party over for a picnic supper and a bonfire. We had a wonderful time! Hannah and Nate are blessed with great friends (and families, of course:) who really enjoy life-we had a fun time!
Marion admiring a frog, then Marion's surprised face captured as the frog makes it's quick and daring escape!

Sheldon (the best man) squirting cake frosting into Nate's mouth. Yup. Every wedding needs a guy with humor. And they're just practicing!

Hannah and Mrs. Charles (Nate's mom).

The girlies and their hot dogs.
The pictures below are from the same evening. Note the picture with all the people: that is the sum of Hannah & Nate's immediate family. (wow, there are a bunch of us!)
The last picture is the bridal party, picnic style!
